The supplied mounting bracket is equipped with a locking system, which ensures that no one can remove the jockey wheel without a key. While this item is suitable to use outside we recommend that it be housed and not left open to the elements for periods of time. Moving a vehicle with a jockey wheel is only effective on hard surfaces.
